Stalk Ashley and Valiant have released two songs together. The first was “Narcissistic”, which came out as a video in December 2022 and as a single in January 2023. The second was “Big Vibes”, from her 2024 debut album Stalky the Bratt. They have also performed together several times, including for BBC Radio 1Xtra in Jamaica in 2023, at Valiant Unplugged in Kingston in March 2024, and at Reggae Sumfest’s Blitz in July 2025.

1. “Narcissistic” (2022–2023)
“Narcissistic” was the song that first paired them, and it became a big hit for both artists. The official video, directed by KhingCam, came out on 23 December 2022. The single followed on streaming services on 6 January 2023, released through YGF Records and Zojak World Wide, and a deluxe edition appeared in February.
The song looks at emotional damage in a relationship from both sides, with Valiant and Stalk Ashley each taking a perspective. Both are credited as songwriters. The production credits name a team: Tevino “YGF” Richards, Jaxx, Charles “Kraiggi BaDArt” Doran, Tarique Johnson, Jordan Suragh, Roderick A. Fray, MXSSIVH and DEEMO. Anju Blaxx mixed it. Vibe later reported that the song topped the Jamaican charts for weeks.

2. “Big Vibes” (2024)
Their second duet came on Stalky the Bratt, Stalk Ashley’s debut album, released on 30 August 2024 through Stalk Ashley Music and Zojak World Wide. Unlike “Narcissistic”, which came out under Valiant’s name first, “Big Vibes” is billed to Stalk Ashley with Valiant as her guest, reversing the order from their first single. The credits list Kingbnjmn and Jaxx & Jordan as producers. The official video, titled “Stalky x Valiant – Big Vibes”, is on Stalk Ashley’s YouTube channel.
On stage together
BBC Radio 1Xtra in Jamaica (2023)
In 2023 the pair performed “Narcissistic” for BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Jamaica sessions, and the station posted the performance on its official YouTube channel. It is still up for fans to watch.
Valiant Unplugged, Kingston (March 2024)
When Valiant held an acoustic show at TacBar in Devon House with the band Dub Squad, Stalk Ashley was his first guest. The Gleaner reported that the audience heard a soft arrangement of “Narcissistic” live for the first time. Later in the set, the two closed a segment with a soulful cover of “Turn Your Lights Down Low”, the Bob Marley song later reworked as a duet with Lauryn Hill.
Reggae Sumfest Blitz, Montego Bay (16 July 2025)
At Blitz, the all-black party during Reggae Sumfest’s festival week at the Catherine Hall grounds, Stalk Ashley performed her own set and brought out Valiant for “Narcissistic”. The Gleaner wrote that his appearance was planned rather than a surprise, and that their chemistry on stage got the crowd excited about the song again. She named Valiant’s entrance as one of the highlights of her night, telling the paper, “I enjoyed every moment.”
Who is Valiant?
Valiant’s real name is Raheem Bowes, and he comes from Mannings Hill in the Stony Hill area of St Andrew, Jamaica. He had been recording for about ten years before his breakthrough, and at one point he was part of Popcaan’s Unruly camp.
His big moment came in 2022, when a clip of him saying “kotch e hat, a lie” at a video shoot went viral and sent new listeners to his music. A run of singles followed:
- “Dunce Cheque” (2022): the song that drew public criticism from Jamaica’s information minister, Robert Morgan. Valiant responded by releasing the video, then followed up with “Scholar”
- “North Carolina”, “Siance” and “C.A.L (Cut All Losses)” (2022)
- “Mad Out” (2023): a song he says opened international doors for him
- “Faith” (2024): with 450
- “Ugly” with DJ Mac (2025): from his EP Prove Them Wrong
Billboard reports that he signed with Sony Music UK’s relaunched Epic Records in late 2023. In 2024 he won Best Caribbean Music Act at the MOBO Awards and Male Dancehall Artist of the Year at the Caribbean Music Awards. His EP Prove Them Wrong came out on 23 May 2025 through Epic/Sony Music UK, with guests including Fridayy, Tommy Lee Sparta and 450 on the title track.
