How it happened

Look closely at the credits of Stalk Ashley’s biggest records and one name keeps surfacing: MXSSIVH. The Montego Bay-raised producer broke through in 2020 on Intence’s “New Year” and built a résumé most producers twice his age would envy — Rytikal’s “Chosen”, Squash’s “Big Breeze”, plus American hip-hop placements for OT7 Quanny (“OK OK”) and Famous Dex (“Fire”).

The quiet architect of the bratt era

Before “Therapy” ever existed, MXSSIVH was already embedded in Stalk Ashley’s sound: he was among the producers on “Narcissistic” with Valiant, and worked on both “Really Like U” with Skillibeng and “Stay With Me” with Sean Paul from Stalky the Bratt. Few collaborators have shaped more of her catalogue.

“Therapy” (2025): producer steps to the mic

Released Friday, June 27, 2025 via VP Records, “Therapy” flipped the relationship — MXSSIVH the artist, Stalk Ashley the feature — as the second single from his debut album Live Fast, whose rollout began with “Ravin” alongside Najeeriii and reportedly holds collaborations with Vybz Kartel, Squash and Valiant. The record leans into “sexy drill”, the New York-rooted subgenre of fluttering hi-hats and moody melodies, with Stalk Ashley singing obsession over a partner she’ll put before everyone else. Ruption directed the video, which premiered the same day.
