How it happened

450 — born Tristen Escoffery in Kingston, stage name taken from his April 5, 2000 birthday — is one of the smoothest melodic voices of dancehall’s new generation. Raised partly in Clarendon and schooled at Lennon High, he debuted in 2019 with “Bines A Fly” and broke nationwide in 2021 with “Imperfections”, following with “Journey”, “Purge”, “Deh Pon A Wave”, “What If” and “Wild n Rich” — the last of which hit #1 on Apple Music in 14 Caribbean islands.

“Good Ole Gyal” (2026)

DancehallMag broke the news on August 16, 2026: 450 and Stalk Ashley had linked on “Good Ole Gyal”. His Instagram caption said it all — “New Music with Ms Good Ole” — and the official video (titled “Good Ole”) landed on his channel the following day. In dancehall parlance, DancehallMag noted, “good ole gyal” is genuine endearment — a status, not a slight — and the pairing makes sense on paper and on record: two young stars whose raw, unfiltered energy is exactly what their fanbases come for.

For Stalk Ashley it extends a 2026 that has already produced “Ready for the Ride” with Sean Paul, “On The Boulevard”, “2BSexy” and “Quaker (Oats Porridge)” — plus two Caribbean Music Awards nominations.
