Sean Paul & Stalk Ashley Are ‘Ready for the Ride’

Stalk Ashley Hub · 21 August 2026 · 3 min read

“It’s lightning striking twice for Sean Paul and Stalk Ashley,” wrote the Jamaica Star, and it’s hard to argue. “Ready for the Ride”, released February 27, 2026 via Dutty Rock Production and Milk & Honey Records, reunites the dancehall icon with the bratt-era star two years after “Stay With Me” — and this time the billing is equal.

The pedigree runs deep: production from Scribz Riley, the two-time Grammy winner behind work on Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy, and visuals from director Kieran Khan that V13 described as “cinematic, vibrant, and organic”. Sonically it stays planted in dancehall — a driving bassline up front — while Afrobeats and R&B shades ride reggaeton-style drum programming underneath.

Where “Stay With Me” was an introduction — the Star credits it with putting her on the global dancehall radar — the sequel plays like a statement of intent, released just as Sean Paul opened a European tour set to reach more than 250,000 fans. For Stalk Ashley, whose 2026 has already stacked “On The Boulevard”, “2BSexy” and “Quaker (Oats Porridge)”, it’s the highest-profile co-sign of her career.
